1 Answer John, You will want to pull the unit out and access the control board. You will test at the J4 connector which is a 5 pin connector for 13 vdc from red to black. If there is power there then the dispenser interface WR55X10518 is faulty and would need to be replaced. Lionel S December 14, 2014 for Model Number GSS25QGPAWW The water dispenser on our GE side-by-side has just stopped working after 12 years. The ice and crushed ice functions work fine (these have not seen much use compared to the water dispenser) and the indicator lights on the touch panel all seem to be working. 1 Answer Lionel, You will want to disconnect the water line that is located under the kickplate at the bottom of the door. Once disconnected push on the dispenser lever and see if water comes out. If water comes out then your dispenser fill tube is frozen in the door. For your model if the serial number starts AF through AM then you can use water tube heater kit part number WR49X10173. Anthony March 04, 2014 for Model Number GSH22KGMC WW All I can get is crushed ice through the door. It was working fine untill I sprayed some lube on the little piston that operates the flap in the door. The green light lights up when I press for cubed ice but all I get is crushed.
