Hello Dhammika, If the connections of the ribbon cable are good, the most likely cause of the issue is the control board WD21X10215. I'm sorry but this part has been discontinued by the manufacturer and no satisfactory substitutions have been provided. Thank you for your patience and understanding in this matter.

Adrian, the touchpad assembly would not have a speaker attached to it, and the keypad assembly is less susceptible to v voltage fluctuations than the WD12X10353 Module Control Asm. (it also contains the piezo speaker and circuit). Presuming you removed power to the dishwasher for a few minutes(5 0r 10) reestablished the power and the issue remained, the control board would be the most likely issue. Thanks,

Dishwasher panel: Normal wash always on unless Light wash is pressed, otherwise does not respond when pressed. Light Wash will go on when pressed and Normal wash will go off, Sani wash no responses (ever regardless of what is done/pressed), Auto no response. Start/Reset button works to turn unit on but not to reset, Delay hours no response, Heated Dry no response (just stays on even if held for 3 seconds), Added Heat and Steam buttons turn on and off when pressed. Seems like it is locked but isn't, I can change the settings to Light wash, Added heat, Steam. But I cannot Delay, or change it to Sani wash or Auto. I also cannot Reset it... So, what is going on?

Gary, The thermostat on this unit should be a closed circuit until it reaches a certain temp then will open to shut the heater off. It would be recommended to check the wiring of the unit to make sure that there is no damaged or loose connection.

Hello Peter. Based on the information you provided, it sounds like the touch pad WD34X11074 is bad and will need to be replaced on the unit. Thank you.

Hello Chris, You should first check the water pressure to the unit to ensure there is enough water pressure to fill the unit during the time allowed by the control board for fill. If water pressure is low, it will not fill sufficiently during the fill time. If water pressure is sufficient, the water valve WD15X10014 would be the next suspect since if it does not open properly, it will restrict the volume of water.

Oscar Fuller for Model Number GE PDW9880NOOSS

I have to start with no heat dry on normal multiple times before it will start to run. Once it starts, it runs about 6 minutes to when the detergent door opens. Then it stops and goes back to heat dry and normal. I take off the heat dry and try and restart. Do this several times and then it will run again until it get to the detergent drop. Might stop there again. After 2 or three of these short 6 minutes runs it gets past the detergent drop and completes the cycle. Heat dry appears not to work at all. Any suggestions?

Oscar, The [AP3791472} Control Module is a good possibility, but you may want to check the WD34X11228 Keypad first. You may want to retrieve the "mini manual" located behind the toe-plate on the front base of the frame, and conduct the service test mode and operate all the dishwasher components. This will help pinpoint the problem, determine if the control does or doesn't perform properly and speed up the repair procedure.

Patrick, If there is 120 vac getting to the control board but nothing lighting up then yes the control module would be the most likely cause for this and would need to replace it.
