Ray March 21, 2020 for Model Number JKP90SM2SS I have GE combo microwave and baking oven. Baking oven works fine, microwave does not work properly, or locks up. Screen shows F-3 failure. Do I need new smart board or could it be door switch?
1 Answer Ray, The F-3 indicates a sensor error and with this being on the microwave it would be more likely the smartboard is the issue for this unit. Read More...
John May 30, 2019 for Model Number JKP90SM2SS I had an oven that would not heat so I replaced the oven control board and everything works fine now, but, I notice that the microwave display is much dimmer than the display on the new oven control board. Is this an indication that I will need to replace the smart board soon?
1 Answer Hello John, You will need to replace the smart board WB27T10091 to replace the low voltage transformer that powers the microwave display. Read More...
Jon Hansn February 24, 2019 for Model Number JKP90SOM1SS I have the microwave/ oven combo wall unit. The oven will not heat at all. When you turn it on to 450 it acts like it is going to work but does nothing. Display for the oven is fine and Microwave works perfectly. Just no heat. Is it the thermostat sensor or has the oven control unit gone bad?
1 Answer Jon Hansen, I would check the high limit thermostat located on the back of the oven, you should be able to test it for continuity. The thermostat opens on high temperature and if it is reading open, it will not allow the oven to heat up. The thermostat will need to be replaced, WB24T10081 Read More...
Wilbur December 17, 2018 GE combo oven and microwave; oven works great but microwave appeared to work, timer counted down, but nothing heated. Is this the control board GEpart number WB27T10091 causing the problem? Thanks
1 Answer Wilbur, Yes, it could be an issue with the "smart board", But first check the door switches, then the TCO on the magnetron. If either part fails, power to the magnetron will be eliminated and the M/W will not heat. Read More...
Blake November 07, 2017 for Model Number JKP85BA2BB I continue to get an F7 ERC failure code even after removing the ribbon cable and cleaning the pins with a pencil eraser. The data sheet says to replace control is recurs. Do I need to replace the smart board? Part # AP2025274

Damon October 24, 2017 for Model Number JKP86B0F3BB I am getting an F2 error randomly. Even while the oven is not on. Also, it takes a few tries to get it to heat up. Example: I turn it on 450 and it immediately beeps and says that it is heated to 450. And once I do get it to heat, it never maintains the right temp. What part do I need? Smart Board?
1 Answer Damon, You will want to check the oven sensor for 1090 ohms of resistance. If the resistance is off will need to get the sensor and if the sensor checks ok then this will be a control board issue. Read More...

Goutham Pai July 11, 2015 for Model Number JKP90S0M1SS The microwave/oven combo unit's oven button and display works but the microwave portion of it is dead. Is this the part I would need to replace? Is part 15 on the schematic for the microwave control board/display and the part 16 for the oven control portion?
1 Answer Goutham, Yes, the control board for your microwave section would be part number WB27T10091. If there is no display or lights or anything then you would want to check the fuses in the microwave and check the thermal cutoff to make sure that they are not blown. Read More...
