Mike September 26, 2022 for Model Number RF266AEWP/XAA Fridge and freezer quit cooling, unplugged for 5 minutes and it worked for a week. Unplugged again and worked for about a week again. Now will not work at all. Took back cover off and LED is blinking 5 times. At CN75, pin 4 (orange wire) has 2.07 volts. Pin 3 (red wire) has 0 volts, Pin 2 (brown wire) has 5.0 volts. Please advise on the next step I should take? Thanks

The model of my refrigerator is "RFG297AARS", it is not prefixed with a "/XAA". The BOM Name of my refrigerator is "RFG297ABRS/XAA", and does contain the "/XAA" prefix. Both RFG297AARS and RFG297ABRS are valid refrigerators with different parts. Thanks for your help

Robert H April 20, 2022 for Model Number RFG297AARS My refrigerator stopped cooling. The LED light on the Inverter PCB Board was not lit. Self diagnosis gave no codes. I put the refrigerator on Force Freeze mode. With this, the refrigerator began cooling and the LED light on the PCB board lit up, no blinking. I feel I may need a new Control board. You offer a DA41-00538A, the part number on my control board is a DA41-00537A. Comparing it to the picture on your site, my board has an additional plug that has wires going to it. Will the DA41-00538A work on my refrigerator? Thanks!

Lw January 24, 2022 for Model Number rfg297aars Display unit for controls does not illuminate or function. Refrigerator and freezer still cools and keeps appropriate temps by utilization of thermometers. Will the replacement of this board allow the display and functions of the display to operate again?

The main control can be tested for DC voltage at the connection CN50 from pin 4 to pin 6 and there should be 13VDC. If the voltage is there, the display control has failed. Jason July 14, 2021 for Model Number samsung refrigerator model rf28hmedbsr Cup with ice on display screen flashes on and off and beeps constantly. Tried to do a forced defrost but display screen will not accep selection. When I hold the two buttons to go into forced defrost; it will go black except for the water icon, when I let the buttons go the screen immediately goes back to the normal operating view with temperatures displayed. James September 15, 2020 for Model Number RFG297AARS Refrigerator is RFG297AARS. Refrigerator compressor is not on. Replaced main board, and Compressor inverter board, still nothing. Solid red light on inverter board. Ohmed the compressor and have 9.9 ohms between the three legs. No terminals of the compressor are shorted to ground. Compressor overload has continuity. Condenser fan motor is running. I put the freezer in fast freeze mode. no compressor running. There is no way to check pressures at the compressor on this sealed system. Compressor not running, condenser feels ambient temperature suction and liquid lines are same temperature at ambient temp, no difference. Thoughts on what to check on this fridge?
