William May 02, 2017 for Model Number MRES30S The (large) dual burner element on my Dacor MRES30S cook top does not respond properly when attempting to turn on that burner. When it comes to the other 3 burners, I barely have to touch the glass and I get a beep followed by the corresponding (and pulsating) level selection. Upon selecting, the working 3 all fire as they should. When it comes to the (large) dual element it requires excessive pressure to get it to beep and fire up. Even then it will not allow the selection of the secondary element on the burner (no matter how hard I press on that option). I am curious if the sensor that reads selection for that burner is bad or if the dual element is more likely bad and requires replacing. Like I previously mentioned, the internal (inside) element will fire up if you apply enough pressure but it is excessive (the secondary or outer element option will not respond at all).
1 Answer William, This issue will most likely be caused by a faulty display board. The part number for the board is DE81-06126A. Read More...

Alex November 03, 2016 for Model Number CABP3 I have a Dacor CABP3 5 burner gas range, which the bottom right cooktop continuously sparks. I know I need to replace the spark element and possibly the microswitch, but finding the parts is nearly impossible. Can you identify a readable schematic and/or parts?
1 Answer Hello Alex. The model number you provided CABP3 is not for a cooktop. It is for a blower motor. We will need the model number for the cooktop. Thank you. Read More...

Chris August 31, 2014 for Model Number Dacor sgm304s My Dacor cooktop has 4 burners. I am guessing the bottom 2 burners are controlled by one ignition module and the top 2 by another one. When I light either of the bottom 2 burners it continues to spark and click. The top 2 are functioning properly. Can you pinpoint which item I need to repair this? Thanks.
1 Answer Chris, With the issue that you are having, with the unit sparking continuously on the back 2 burners when turned on would be an issue with the spark module DE81-03926A. Read More...
Gary January 24, 2013 for Model Number CABP3 I have a Dacor gas cook top with a vent fan that runs the width of the cook top. When I press the "up" button, the vent rises all the out of the unit and when reaching maximum height simply descends back into the unit. The fan never comes on. Model # is CABP3. Any thoughts?
1 Answer Hello Gary, This is going to be a limit switch at the top that is not making or maybe the switch isn't contacting mechanically. We cannot find a wiring diagram on the unit so, the tech sheet should contain this information. It should be affixed to the unit where it is accessible for a service man. It may be in a plastic or paper bag or it could be a sticker on the units' body under the counter. If you can locate this diagram, the issue will be the upper limit switch. Read More...
