Suzy June 05, 2020 for Model Number MHW8000AG0 We have front loading washer MHW8000AG0. We want to replace the drum baffles (W10697830) as they are scratched and pilling our clothing badly. How do we remove the old baffles and replace them with the new, please? And is there any info online that corresponds with our unit to help? Thank you.
1 Answer Suzy, It looks like fro the picture of the parts that they are put on with screws through the inner basket. This means a disassembly of the machine, removal of the tubs and the removal of the outer tub to gain access to the inner basket to remove the screws for the baffle. W10697830 Read More...
Casey C November 04, 2017 for Model Number WFW86HEBW2 How many baffles are in this particular order and is there any baffle mounting screws or does it just clip in with the baffle by itself? If there is another part that I need to order what part would that be?
1 Answer Casey, The baffle W10697830 will have 3 baffles in it. It does not show a screw for it and will just clip in place. Read More...
Kim August 22, 2017 for Model Number WFW94HEXW2 How do you remove baffle from this Whirlpool Duet? We have taken off the top of the washer and found a metal tab but no way to release to remove baffle WP8540456. Please HELP!!
1 Answer Kim, Once you have the top panel removed, you need to carefully remove the vent hose WPW10568614 from the top, center of the tub. rotate the tub until the baffle aligns with the opening and check to see that there is or isn't a screw securing the baffle to the inner drum. If so, carefully remove the screw and follow the remainder of the video instructions. [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dgtqN14x1jM] or [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2yeGXxY_Hd4] . Read More...

Tor July 02, 2015 for Model Number WFW8640BW0 I have a Whirlpool WFW8640BW0 and I want to remove a baffle, I opened it up - removed top and rubber fill line - but did not find any screws on any of the baffles do they use screws? Also I lifted the retaining tab out of the way, but still am unable to remove the baffle. There is a small round plastic piece across from it that is stuck in the drum. does that break off or is there some way to disengage it.
