George January 03, 2013 for Model Number kemc378kss04 The capacitor in my unit is round and has 4 terminals. The capacitor listed as the replacement one has 8 terminals and is oval. Can the oval one replace the existing round one? If so, how do I determine which terminals to use?
1 Answer Hello George, The capacitor in a microwave is a speciality part designed to withstand high voltages, (in some cases up to 50KV).
