Greg October 20, 2020 for Model Number WFW95HEXW2 The washer will not start and throws error codes F06 and E02. Can you tell me the most likely cause? Thank you.
1 Answer Greg, three possible causes. First is the wiring harness between the User Interface (UI) and the Central Control Unit (CCU). A quick continuity check from the cable connected at CCU U17 connector and UI C2 connector can verify if this is the issue. Second the CCU AC and DC power supplies. See the tech Sheet and run test #1 (CCU Power Check). Third run test #2 (User Interface). Results from the last two tests will tell you which component to replace. Read More...

Check the drive system for worn or faulty components. Check the wiring harness and connectors between the CCU and the MCU (MI3 and MS2 connectors) and the wires between the motor rotor switch and the MCU. If all checks OK, replace the MCU WPW10374126 / W10374126 Motor Control Unit. Read More...

Matthew April 11, 2015 for Model Number WFW95HEXW2 The error code(s) F06 & E02 appear on my whirlpool washing machine. I wanted to make certain that that indicates that there is a problem with the control circuit board, and that I would be getting the correct part? If so, please state the actual part number for it so I can purchase it. Can I install this myself? Is there some sort of guide to do so? Thank you so much.
1 Answer Matthew, The F6 E2 error code is a communication error between the User interface and the Main control board. You will want to check the wiring between the 2 boards and if the wiring checks ok then the issue will be the main control board. Read More...
