Bonnie, the error code E3 is going to indicate an error with the motor sensor built into the motor. With this, it can either be a failure in the motor WP34001437, a failure with the main control 34001498, or a break in the wires. The wires can be checked for any break and can be repaired. However, if the wires are in good condition, the motor and control are discontinued parts and are no longer available. As the manufacturer has not listed an approved substitute for these parts, an alternative could not be recommended nor guaranteed to operate properly.

I own a Maytag neptune front load. I replaced the drain motor due to the propellers were broken. I was getting a ND before the new pump. I'm also getting a ND after new pump installed. I believe I need a new board but can't find the right one. How exactly do you check the voltage on the pump. There is no restriction on the hoses they were taken off and checked. Plus, I suck the excess water out through them, while I'm trying to figure out whats wrong. Thanks
