Lc for Model Number 66513749k601 by Kenmore

I am looking for a new docking port for my Kenmore mdl 66513749k 601. Absolutely no one has a picture of this part, at least for the Kenmore therefore I am having a great deal of difficulty in finding the part. The closest I have come is your part #AP4365228 BUT it looks slightly different? It seems to be the right size but the sides (clips) look slightly different???? Do you know if this part will fit my machine? If not, where on Gods green earth am I to find one. Sears is useless as tits on a bore. Your help would be greatly appreciated. Sincerely, LC Campbell PS My only problem is the rubber flappers within the part.

Tom for Model Number MDB6601AWW

My dishwasher is leaving a residue on the inside and outside of all dishes, top and bottom rack. It sounds like it is spraying plenty of water, the manifold that channels the water to the spray arms is clear, the spray arms are not plugged, and the impeller is in good shape. I have not removed the main pump and motor assembly. The filter screen seems discolored but I don't think it is plugged. I have added extra water, just in case it was low and, yet, lightly stuck on food does not come off and all dishes feel coated with a residue. One other observation, half way up the manifold, there is an open port on the left side. Is it normal?

Tom, The port on the side of the manifold is there as designed by the manufacturer. You will want to pull the pump apart to make sure that there is nothing clogged in the pump and make sure that the filter is clean. You may also need to run a clean cycle in the dishwasher to make sure that there is no residual soap residue. Also check your water temp when the tub fills to make sure that the temperature is at least 120 degrees. If not then and the water does not reach proper temp then this could cause the same issue.

Hello Shell. Check and make sure the water level inside the dishwasher is correct. It should fill to the bottom of the heater. If not, make sure the float is not sticking. If the float is good, replace the water valve 99002628. Low water levels can cause poor cleaning issues. Hope this helps.

Hello Ed. You will need to inspect the impeller before ordering any parts. If it is bad, then you will need to replace it. If the shaft is bad, you will need to replace the motor assembly. Hope this helps.

Hello Ed. You will need to remove the lower spray arm and gain access to the impeller WP99002659 on the machine. Make sure the sump assembly is good and clean, and the impeller shaft is not stripped or broken. Also, make sure all of the spray arms are clear from debris and the rubber seals in the docking station are sealing properly. Hope this helps.

Mark for Model Number JDB4000AWS

If the rubber gasket/seal that is not be used by the upper washer arm is worn/slightly open, will this cause a loss of water pressure to the upper washer arm and washer arm that is connected to the top of the tub? We recently replace our upper rack and the tube mounted under the upper rack now connects to the top hole in Station D vs the bottom hole. Glasses and other items in the upper rack do not seem to be getting clean. Please advise if replacing Station D will help solve this problem. Thanks!

1 Answer

Hello Mark. Yes, if the water is leaking out of the gasket, you will loose water pressure. Hope this helps.
