Lc February 20, 2014 for Model Number 66513749k601 by Kenmore I am looking for a new docking port for my Kenmore mdl 66513749k 601. Absolutely no one has a picture of this part, at least for the Kenmore therefore I am having a great deal of difficulty in finding the part. The closest I have come is your part #AP4365228 BUT it looks slightly different? It seems to be the right size but the sides (clips) look slightly different???? Do you know if this part will fit my machine? If not, where on Gods green earth am I to find one. Sears is useless as tits on a bore. Your help would be greatly appreciated. Sincerely, LC Campbell PS My only problem is the rubber flappers within the part.
1 Answer Hello LC. According to your manufacturer, the only way to get the one for your model is to order the tube WP8575974. Read More...
Tom June 04, 2013 for Model Number MDB6601AWW My dishwasher is leaving a residue on the inside and outside of all dishes, top and bottom rack. It sounds like it is spraying plenty of water, the manifold that channels the water to the spray arms is clear, the spray arms are not plugged, and the impeller is in good shape. I have not removed the main pump and motor assembly. The filter screen seems discolored but I don't think it is plugged. I have added extra water, just in case it was low and, yet, lightly stuck on food does not come off and all dishes feel coated with a residue. One other observation, half way up the manifold, there is an open port on the left side. Is it normal?
1 Answer Tom, The port on the side of the manifold is there as designed by the manufacturer. You will want to pull the pump apart to make sure that there is nothing clogged in the pump and make sure that the filter is clean. You may also need to run a clean cycle in the dishwasher to make sure that there is no residual soap residue. Also check your water temp when the tub fills to make sure that the temperature is at least 120 degrees. If not then and the water does not reach proper temp then this could cause the same issue. Charlie May 29, 2012 for Model Number maytag mdbtt79ww Set controls for wash, panel lights up, but no water starts to flow?
1 Answer Hello Charlie. Check and make sure the float is not stuck in the up position on the unit. If the float is good, and there is no water coming in, test for power to the water valve. If there is power there and no water coming in, you will need to replace the water valve. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
Shell July 31, 2011 for Model Number MDB7600AWB My maytag is not cleaning the upper rack of dishes. The rack is even dirty. We have to cleaned out the the upper arm each time we use it and then sometimes it still does not clean. We have clean everything on this machine except filter and docking station. Any help as to next step, besides a new machine?
1 Answer Hello Shell. Check and make sure the water level inside the dishwasher is correct. It should fill to the bottom of the heater. If not, make sure the float is not sticking. If the float is good, replace the water valve 99002628. Low water levels can cause poor cleaning issues. Hope this helps. Read More...
Ed April 11, 2011 for Model Number MDB9750BWS10 Follow up to my earlier question, do you suggest that I replace the impeller? If so, do I need any other parts or just that one item? Thanks.
1 Answer Hello Ed. You will need to inspect the impeller before ordering any parts. If it is bad, then you will need to replace it. If the shaft is bad, you will need to replace the motor assembly. Hope this helps. Read More...
Ed April 11, 2011 for Model Number MDB9750BWS10 Hello! It seems that the washer arm at the very top of the tub has stopped rotating and stopped flowing water. Somehow it does not seem that the water is finding its wall all the way to this washer arm. Any ideas of what would be causing this? The result is that items in the top rack do not clean/rinse well anymore. Thanks!
1 Answer Hello Ed. You will need to remove the lower spray arm and gain access to the impeller WP99002659 on the machine. Make sure the sump assembly is good and clean, and the impeller shaft is not stripped or broken. Also, make sure all of the spray arms are clear from debris and the rubber seals in the docking station are sealing properly. Hope this helps. Read More...
Mark March 22, 2011 for Model Number JDB4000AWS If the rubber gasket/seal that is not be used by the upper washer arm is worn/slightly open, will this cause a loss of water pressure to the upper washer arm and washer arm that is connected to the top of the tub? We recently replace our upper rack and the tube mounted under the upper rack now connects to the top hole in Station D vs the bottom hole. Glasses and other items in the upper rack do not seem to be getting clean. Please advise if replacing Station D will help solve this problem. Thanks!
1 Answer Hello Mark. Yes, if the water is leaking out of the gasket, you will loose water pressure. Hope this helps. Read More...
