Greg September 16, 2015 for Model Number ARE640 My Amana stove top has 2 size burner units. They are sealed electric with a covered top. I can only find 1 sized listed. Is it for the 6 inch burners or the 7 1/2?

Raul C. April 03, 2015 for Model Number whirpool RC8436XTW2 Have two 6" elements, one 9" and one 7.5" would like to get prices on replacements for each. Cook-top works great but its old and the solid surfaces are all marked up along with the rings around. Is it worth to replace the solid surfaces or to purchase a new cook-top? I do not see any more cook-tops that have the solid surface, only coils and radiant.

No, most replacement parts do not come with instructions, unless there is a wiring or engineering change, then you get an instruction sheet.
