Stephen April 12, 2022 for Model Number KUDS24SEWH4 parts diagram appears to show #7 check ball quantity of 2, but when I opened my machine to clean and inspect, I found only 1 check ball of that larger size. ??
1 Answer Stephen, there should be 3 check balls in the model provided. There should be a smaller one WP302709 directly under the filter housing, then the two larger ones WP719929 located just below the first. If there is one missing, it could potentially affect the operation of the unit. Read More...

Scott December 05, 2017 for Model Number DU920PFGQ2 Hi. How do you align the filter housing so the chopper blade does not rub against the metal grate? All I have done is remove the parts to the blade and cleaned everything. I was not able to remove the blade. It seams to be a different design than the blades I have seen for sale. Anyway, when I reinstall the filter housing the blade rubs against the metal grate. Thanks.
1 Answer Hello Scott. You will need to check all parts and make sure none is bad. You can watch the video on the impeller kit 675806 and see how they should look when installed into the unit properly. If yours does not look like this, you will need to replace the kit on the unit. Thank you. Read More...
Frustrated October 23, 2015 for Model Number du920pfgb1 Sorry but I wasn't sure where I should put the tablespoon of veg. oil to start with to get rid of the suds, and I am not sure about the second place to put the cup of vinegar either. Sorry I have these buttons on our machine: rinse only, low energy/china, normal, heavy, pots and pans, high temperature wash, air dry, cancel/drain. I am sorry but I have a problem of which setting to use for each cleaning. Larry
1 Answer Hello Larry. Use the heavy cycle and just add the cleaner into the bottom of the tub. Read More...
Frustrated October 22, 2015 for Model Number du920pfgb1 How do you know when to clean the pump filter housing? Would this part being clogged on the top make a drip appear at the float assembly area? I see suds during the wash cycle and drips during the rinse cycles also and it drips down from the float assembly onto the float switch flap and then onto the floor. WHY? Replaced water inlet valve, float assy., float switch, door gasket. and checked to see if unit is level.
1 Answer Hello Frustrated, This issue is normally related to an over-soap condition. This is the only way water can get up into the float to leak out at that location. I would first try killing the suds with a tablespoon of vegetable oil. Following this, do a sanitation cycle with one quart of white vinegar and the heat assist to rid the unit of the vegetable oil. The screens should not be stopped up so there could be a restriction in the drain. Read More...
