Homoaner for Model Number RKP26m1xSL

AppliancePro my "go to" place to keep my home appliance's going. I have a Worm Follower Gear in my Professional Series 600 6qt KitchenAid Mixer, that has failed. I removed it and was wondering if there are TWO different Followers? I ask, due to the One I have has been concaved out where it rides the Worm Gear. (worn or design?) I also noted that in the Great Videos you have to help repair appliances the video shared there has been an upgraded Worm gear and was wondering if this is my case? (An older One with concave Follower and the New One Not?) OR is the gear I have so worn that it is now concave? There is a lot of fine metal in the Transmission Case, missing teeth, leaving me wondering if there are two different Worm Follower Gears for these KitchenAid Mixers? OR as stated just worn? Sorry for the redundancy, just trying to be very clear. Thank you in advance, Homoaner Model number is R-(for refurb?) KP 26 m1x SL P is 2015, 26= day, M1= Jan, X=? and SL= Silver, I put this up in case others were wondering how to read the model number
