Dennis December 31, 2019 for Model Number WFE505WOHZ1 What is the correct part number for right oven door hinge for this model number WFE505WOHZ1?
Jennifer Scott November 11, 2018 for Model Number Maytag wall ovenWMM7530WD501 I ordered and installed both a right and left hinge. The door is better and does not hang low any more when opened, but when closed it doesn’t seem to be completely tight and the light stays on indicating it is not fully closed. Is there some adjusting that can be done?
1 Answer Jennifer, the model number you supplied is incorrect or incomplete, Please recheck the model number on the serial plate and repost your question. In the mean time, there are no "adjustments" to make, you may want to check the inner door panel with a straight edge to make sure the door liner isn't "bowed" at the top, Check the front flange of the cavity opening, in the area where the door hinges enter the body, make sure the area isn't "bowed out" Causing the door to be at a slight angle. Check and clean if necessary the oven door seal, then put the oven through a full and complete self clean cycle. If all checks OK repost your question with a proper model number so we can check for alternative checks and repairs. Thanks, Read More...
K.B. May 18, 2014 for Model Number KEBC107KSS0 This is a stainless steel wall model oven - kitchenaid. I find the right door hinge with a spring (which is the current problem) but no left door hinge part at all. Does this part do both sides or is there only a spring on the right side?
1 Answer K.B, the left side door hinge is part number WP9760574. This includes the spring for the left side. Thanks. Read More...

Alan February 06, 2014 for Model Number YKEBC107KM The door will not open more than 1 inch. It is not locked. It seems the hinge is stuck, broken or perhaps a locking mechanism has engaged while closed. There were several instances when the door got stuck and was difficult to open but a few hard pulls and eventually it opened. Now it won't open at all. I have removed the stainless front door panel and all but the innermost glass. I can see the hinges (with the large springs) but cannot manipulate them in any way. Is there a solution for this problem? Thank you
1 Answer Hello Alan, All you can do in this case is to trey to lift the door straight up while trying to open the door. Both door hinges, Left WP9760578 and right WP9760577 should be replaced and the door latch assembly WP4451896 should be checked to make sure it is not part of the issue. Read More...
