Dean .S for Model Number MEW6627DDS

Power went down in the neighborhood and when it came back on there was no power to my ovens at all. No display or oven lights whatso ever. I pulled the unit out and tested the terminal block. I have 240 to both outside connections and 120 from the outside to the inside connections. Im not sure where to go from here. I also noticed that somebody had the same issue as me. I tried to click on the part that was recommended it kept bring me back to where I was before? Thanks for any help.

Dean S, Based on the information provided it sounds as if the control board is the likely issue. Based on the wiring schematic the L1, L2, and Neutral are all fed from the terminal block directly to the board. So if you have power in and no action from the board, it looks like a board issue.

Hello. The ribbon cable is not hard to remove from the control board. Just release the clip and slide the ribbon cable off the pins. Then on the re-install, make sure the pins are ligned up properly on the control board WP8507P322-60.

Bill for Model Number mew6627ddb

Both ovens run about 75 degrees higher than the set point, wasnt a problem because. I just set it 75 degrees lower. Our power went out for a few seconds today and the pannel isnt working at all, as im writing. I just heard it beep, went out and its powered up? Clock is 90 min. Behind now. What would cause this? That is the first time that happened! I cant see were both thermastates would be bad, and off the same amount. Any ideas? I installed this myself and am my own renovater, so fixing this once. I find out the problem will be a snap. Thanks bill

Hello Bill. Based on the information you provided, it sounds like the control WP8507P322-60 is bad and will need to be replaced. The sensors should read around 1100 ohms at room temperature. Hope this helps.
