Rb December 07, 2023 for Model Number WTW5560SQ0 Been having very bad spinning issues with washer. Sometimes won't spin or will spin very slowly. If I lift lid and try to manually turn the drum (grabbing under upper edge and forcing some counterclockwise movement) it will begin to spin after re-closing the lid. But it really spins slow at first. Sometimes with larger loads it's very stubborn to spin at all once in a spin cycle and some water is being left under the machine. Agitation cycles seem fine. Fills fine. Does this sound like the clutch or the gear box...? Possibly a clutch and water pump? Appreciate any help. Thanks.
1 Answer RB, Based on the model and description of your issue I agree you will likely need a clutch assembly, part# 285785 as far as the pump goes you can check to make sure the water is pumping out. Read More...
Tai Lee March 04, 2023 for Model Number maytag mvwc3000vw0 If my drain hose is leaking during the fill cycle. Is this issue isolated to the drain hose or do I need to replace both the drain hose and the drain pump?
1 Answer Tai, If the drain hose is leaking then this will be a drain hose that would be needed and should not need to replace the pump. Read More...
Curt May 17, 2022 for Model Number LSR7233EQ0 I want to replace the drain pump on my Whirlpool Washer but your recommended part number PW3363394 said it is for washers with no belts. How do I confirm it does not have belts?? I assume it does not but I am not sure. It is an older model serial CF3963590.
1 Answer Hello Curt, your model does not use a drive belt, it is considered a direct drive model. Read More...
Joseph March 28, 2022 for Model Number geescravi@gmail.com This is a follow up from my question and your answer> I broke the part that has that little white dot on this part Motor Start Switch WP8529896 / AP6012886 - I am not sure what that little white piece does - like an arm. Hoping the chip won't affect the operation
Joseph March 28, 2022 for Model Number geescravi@gmail.com I broke a little piece off the covering of the connector to the right of the pump while trying to get it off. It does not appear to be a PCB of any kind. I used electrical tape to insulate it but wonder if I could have done more damage. I had to really pry the pump off the motor shaft.
1 Answer Joseph, If you just chipped a piece of the covering then using the electrical tape will be sufficient. Read More...

Mel May 14, 2020 for Model Number AP6008107 A month ago I replaced this part on my washer. It’s the direct-drive water pump. (I did not get this part from your company) The part I purchased has already failed and my washer leaked again! When I removed the part I could actually see melted plastic on the side opposite of where the part slides onto the motor. I obviously need a new water pump, but now I’m wondering if there’s something else wrong with the washer that might have caused this piece to melt. This time I’m thinking I should order the part from a more reputable source so I’m also wondering what is your parts guarantee policy?
1 Answer Hello Mel, You should make sure the motor shaft is clean and the drain pump slides on it easily. The only other thing that can cause this is strings and lint from the wash accumulating in the drain pump. Read More...
Rb October 16, 2019 for Model Number CA2762XYW0 Washer clothes are too wet for dryer, drum appears empty. On dis-assembly, water in hoses (which may be normal). Drain pump # 3363394 is removed. No blockages, impeller intact. But trying to turn that impeller is not smooth. Sticky, stops with manual turning. Shouldn't that impeller (a good or NEW impeller) move smooth or freely (to push out ALL water), hence the drain pump is bad? Thanks for your expert reply.
1 Answer RB, while the drain pump should be able to rotate fully without much resistance, it is unlikely to be the issue as it is rotated directly by the motor. As the drain pump does rotate, the next items to check would be the motor coupling 285753A to ensure that it is intact and the next likely item would be the clutch assembly 285785. Read More...

Lisa November 14, 2018 for Model Number caws633soo sometimes when on the spin cycle the machine wont spin so the clothes remain very wet. I already replaced the motor coupling. This happens no matter how big or small the load is.
