Under Counter Ice Maker worked fine all summer. I am turning it off now (end of the season) and I typically run a clean cycle at this time. I turned off unit and removed all the ice in the bin. Then added the cleaning solution plus 16 oz of water as directed. When I hit the CLEAN button, it gives me message "Add Cleaner" and nothing happens. If this is a faulty water fill sensor, why did ice maker operate properly all season? Any ideas?

Jim, The unit should run the clean cycle after the solution is put in it. It could be that there is not enough water in the reservoir. Make sure that there is water running into the unit. If there is not then it could be an issue with the water valve or there is a potential control issue.

Model is 10689553100 After replacing circulation pump the unit starts, fills and runs for 3 seconds before dumping the water and refilling. Replaced the water sensor pn wpw10485962 with no change. Any Ideas?

Katy, it would be recommended that the wire connections are inspected for corrosion. If there is corrosion, the wire harness WPW10485955 would need to be replaced. If there is not corrosion, it is possible that the main control W11034363 has failed.

My ice maker continuously runs water, overflowing the water pan. This causes waste of water, pump always running and melting ice in the bin. Kitchen aid said I needed a new water inlet valve, but getting water is not the problem, water shutting off is the problem. I think it is the sensor. the ice maker has done this since purchase a little over a year ago. Please advise?

Shane, While it could be the sensor that is faulty it could also be a water valve that is not shutting off. It would be recommended to see if there is always 120 Vac to the water valve and if there is not then replace the valve. If there is not then the sensor could be the issue.

After running it through a cleaning cycle and turning it back on fills up with water and continues to fill with water and never turns on to start making ice. Tray overflows and pump comes on to drain and then water starts again. Water is very warm.
