Tracy March 02, 2013 for Model Number W10252714a We just purchased the outer tub because we were told this part had this rubber seal that came off. I do not see this seal on here. The rubber part is about 1 inch wide with a lip. Is this a different part?
1 Answer Hello Tracy, If you are talking about the seal that goes between the front tub and rear tub assemblies, the part number should be WPW10111158. This is not for sure since you did not list your model number. The part you are looking at in the diagram is the front tub assembly. Read More...
Austin October 26, 2012 for Model Number wfw9150wwoo The inner basket is very loose from the outer, it seems that the bearing might be bad and I can't seem to figure out how the support arm is removed from the rear portion of the outer basket also is it possible to replace only the bearing, the plastic outer basket seems to be in good shape, thanks for your help
1 Answer Austin, Unfortunately the tub bearings are not available as a separate component, you'll need to order/replace the rear outer tub assembly W11239040 To remove the support arm, you'll need to remove the spin basket. This will require a complete tear down of the washer. We'll send you some information that will give you an idea of whats involved. Read More...
Jason February 29, 2012 for Model Number wfw9050xw00 My washer howls in spin cycle. Is it going to be the bearing? Is this the only part that has bearings? Thanks!
1 Answer Hello Jason. If the unit only makes the noise in spin and not when it's draining the water out and the tub is idle, the problem is definately going to be the spin bearing. Hope this helped! Read More...
