This 20-inch bake element heats the bottom of the oven cavity so food cooks and browns evenly. Replacing a failed element restores proper oven heating and baking performance. What it does
- Heats the oven's bake chamber during bake cycles
- Replaces a cracked, burned-through, or non-heating bake element
- Helps resolve symptoms like no heat from the bottom, uneven baking, or oven failing to reach set temperature
- Works with the oven's control and safety circuits to provide consistent heat
What's included One 20-inch bake element Install notes
- Disconnect power to the appliance at the breaker or unplug before starting
- Access usually requires removing the oven cavity bottom or back panel
- Handle the element by its insulated areas and avoid bending or touching the bare heating surface
- Tighten terminal connections securely and verify operation with the oven empty after reassembly
