Samsung DA97-05368A Refrigerator Ice Dispenser Door Cover Assembly OEM Part

Removed Phillips head screw from bottom side. Next I removed front electronic interface panel, carefully. The plastic clips holding it in place are designed to pop lose on the right side first.then unplug wiring from back of interface panel. Remove two Phillips head screws holding ice/water dispensing unit in place. Carefully remove dispensing unit from leaving multiple wiring plugs connected. Carefully apply pressure to the side of the ice chute door frame to remove the ice chute door/flap. With new ice flap door in hand load door spring by rotating it around and holding it with your finger. Insert left hand side first and then carefully apply pressure to insert the right side ear into the hinge holes. Spring should now hold door closed. Reassemble.
