Christian B Columbia , MO July 19, 2022 LED display on my Samsung stove was flickering a lot. This was a relatively simple fix, but it was slightly complicated by the fact that my model of the stove had a slightly different configuration in the back. First and foremost, AppliancePartsPros.com came through very nicely. I believe this was my first time using them. The part was reasonably priced and shipped out relatively quickly. It was delayed by one day but FedEx didn't provide a reason. Regardless, the part made it to my door safely. In the videos online, you can see that it's relatively easy to pull the top part of the stove off (five screws). Once you do that, instead of having to take another panel down, I could tell that my stove was made slightly differently. There was a (estimated) 4X6 inch circuit board that was mounted right in front of the LED display. To get to the bad display, I needed to remove the circuit board. One issue is that the circuit board was attached by a ribbon wire, and I was unsure that I could unclip it. I removed the single screw that locked the circuit board in place, and gently popped it out of its mount, but I left it right there for fear of damaging the ribbon wire. This gave me just enough room to access the bad LED display. The other small issue is that most of the videos say to pop the LED display out from the top. That didn't work with my model because the display's top "hooks" actually slid into the top of the mount. I had to pop out the bottom of the LED display and then it slid out gently. Putting the new display in was a piece of cake, and after that, it was just a matter of connecting the LED display, putting the circuit board back in its mount and locking it with the screw and then connecting the back of the stove. Because this was the first time I have ever dealt with this, and the fact that my stove was a slightly different model than what was shown in the online videos, the whole operation took about 30 minutes (slightly longer than the 10-15 shown in the videos), but that's just me being extra careful. I was thrilled to power the stove back up and see a perfect LED display with no flickering. Thanks so much! Kenneth C Hampton Falls , NH December 29, 2020 Appliance: Samsung Electric Range NE59N6630SS/AA-00 Flickering display. Replaced just the small LED display, not the whole motherboard. Very easy, took just 15 minutes, including cleaning behind the range (nice to do that once every few years!). Watch the black plastic tabs on the LED display holder bracket, they break easy. Once snapped on me, so I removed the entire holder bracket (4 more screws) and then easily pushed the LED display out without breaking the other tab. One working tab is enough to hold the display in place properly. The tricky part is flipping up the little locking tab on the ribbon cable from the motherboard. Everything else is simply a few screws and standard push/pull wiring connectors. James M Benedicta , ME March 09, 2021 Appliance: Samsung Electric Range NE59N6630SS/AA-00 LED had to be changed. I ordered a replacement part and replaced it. There was no info available on changing out this particular part on a newer oven. So it took much longer to figure out. It took over 2 hours to figure out how to get the LED off, without damaging the board. To do again would take 15 minutes.
