It was simple. I removed the twelve screws around the door. Unplugged the old switch, plugged in the new on and screwed it back together. Before I purchased the lock/switch from Appliance Parts. Initially we discovered the LE code was due to water in the base due to the over flow. Of course my warranty was up and 1 month later the DW finally stopped with this error. We pulled out the DW and soaked up the water in the sensor on the right side base where it collects water. This got rid of the LE error code. I used the formed plates to engage the slots at the top front of the dishwasher and then screwed the plates to the plywood underside of the quartz countertop. I had to fold over the end of the plates to keep them from extending out past the countertop. Read more

I replaced the water level sensor on the side of the dishwasher. Had to completely take out dishwasher and set on its side. Removed three hose clamps and three electrical disconnects. I have hard water and it looked like the float inside of the sensor wasn't moving properly. Read more

Here's what the problem was: Started the 'Normal' cycle... I closed the door... it calls for water, water fills, ECS sensor doesn't kick it to the next segment of the cycle (wash), so the water over-fills and reaches the over-fill sensor. So many other are replacing the plastic 'case-brake,' main board, and the ECS sensor. After researching the Internet, I thought the drainage hoses were my problem. First I changed both drainage hoses. That didn’t solve the problem. I had to look for another area that was causing water to drip into the pan. I found water leaking from behind the brake assembly.
