Whirlpool W10272107 Microwave Door Handle OEM Part

I started by watching the video posted by couple of people on youtube on how to replace a microwave handle. After taking out the liner, I hit a roadblock with unscrewing the handle screw. The grip on the front side had basically melted causing it to be loose, so the screw and the plastic part would rotate together. After trying several things, I gave up and took it to Ace hardware to find an extractor of some sort. Luckily, the guys there used several tools and managed to get the screw out. Once I got it out, I was able to put everything back together with the new handle I got from appliancepros pretty fast. I did break a couple of those flimsy plastic latches on the inside of the door trying to pry the plastic liner out. So please be very careful with that.

Not only did AppliancePartsPros have the part, but also had schematic drawings and how-to video to replace the part I needed. Much better service than I expected -- and the wife is happy to not have to use the bottom of the microwave door to pry open the microwave!

I had to remove 2 screws and unclip outer cover of the door. Then remove 2 more screws that hold the handle. Then reverse the process to put back together.

Watched u-tube videos and a little trial and error. It wasn't too hard. I also found your staff very helpful in making sure I ordered the correct parts and sending me the u-tube videos that would assist.

I am a female over 60 and needed assistance of a video to put on new handle,It required more than removing 2 screws as I was told by Appliance Parts person.Project completed and door works fine.
