Venturi tube for gas ranges and cooktops. Mixes gas and air for proper burner combustion. Replace if cracked, corroded, or threads are damaged.
My 18+ year old Jennair cooktop, PN CCG2520W was in need of a rebuild b/c of a welded venturi tube on the right front [RF] burner. In order to remove the glass top cover, you MUST remove the venturi tube. To do this you have to DRILL-OUT the venturi tube which requires a new venturi and orifice holder. The repair was difficult b/c most of the parts are no longer available. But then I found a ray-of-hope. I was able to find some Jennair (Maytag) parts but they are scarce. Later I found... Read more
Jet holder securely houses the orifice assembly on gas range burners. Replace if cracked, corroded, or heat-damaged. Ensures proper gas flow and ignition.
First and foremost, don't believe everything you see on Youtube. In order to get to the gas solenoid that feeds the burner you MUST take the entire top off that side of the range. Remove the grates and burner tops. You will see 2x 20mm brass nut, or so it appears, that hold each burner in place on the splash/drip pan. It is not just a nut, it is a venturi that threads down into what is called the jet holder. You may get a socket on it and think you are getting it loose but, more than likely you... Read more
Replacement jet holder for gas range and cooktop burners. Secures the orifice and channels gas flow. Order when original is corroded, damaged, or broken.
The oven was not heating, and there was no gas flow to the oven or spark. I replaced the spark igniter, but that did not fix it, so the problem was either the ignition device or the oven bake solenoid. In order to get to them, I had to cut the venturi tubes which hold down the burner rings with a Dremel tool, which was easy enough. There is no other way to get these tubes out if they are stiff or seized as you will simply twist the gas supply line to the burner if you try to rotate the nut.... Read more
Supplies air to the burner for proper gas combustion. Replace if cracked, seized, or corroded from heat exposure. Installs between valve and burner.
REMOVE THE TOP COVER OF THE STOVE. THE VENTURI NUTS WERE FROZEN.WITH THE JET HOLDER I HAVE TO CUT OR DRILL OUT THE VENTURI NUTS TO RELEASE THE STOVE COVER. IN DOING SO THE JET HOLDERS WERE ROTATED RELATIVE TO THE MOUNTING BRACKET, AS A RESULT, THE TWO TUBING ASSEMBLIES WERE BROKEN. I ONLY FOUND ONE TUBING ASSEMBLY ON LINE. THE OTHER ONE I HAVE TO ABRICATE WITH 1/4" COPPER TUBING, COMPRESSION COLLARS AND WITH THE TWO NUTS SALVAGED FROM THE BROKEN PARTS Read more
This jet holder mounts in the burner assembly for a 12,000 BTU burner. It positions and secures the orifice (jet) and helps seal and align the gas path so the burner lights reliably and produces a steady flame.
The Jet Holder with Nut is an OEM part for Bosch ranges and cooktops. It holds precisely machined jets that control gas flow from each burner valve.
Causes may be wear and deterioration from prolonged heating exposure. Physical impacts or damage accumulation over time could also compromise the jet holder.
Symptoms of a bad jet holder can include:
This genuine OEM Bosch part is also compatible with Thermador, Gaggenau and select Kenmore models.
Air-gas mixing tube that connects the orifice to the burner head on gas cooktops. Replace if clogged, damaged, or missing to restore proper flame mixing.
This 13.7 mm venturi tube mixes gas with air for proper cooktop burner operation. Replace if original is clogged, damaged, or needs removal for repairs.
This LP main jet regulates propane flow to a surface burner to maintain a clean, stable flame. Replace a clogged or incorrect jet to restore proper burner performance, especially when converting a cooktop or range from natural gas to LP.
Jet holder assembly routes gas through the orifice to the burner. Replace if cracked, corroded, or stripped threads prevent secure installation.
Secures the jet/nozzle assembly in proper position on your cooktop. Replace if cracked, loose, or missing to restore correct alignment.
Secures the burner orifice in position to deliver the correct gas jet size for your 12,500 BTU natural gas burner. Replace if cracked, broken, or missing.
Jet holder assembly secures the orifice that meters gas flow to your cooktop burner. Replace if cracked, stripped threads, or missing nut components.
