William R King George , VA February 26, 2019 Appliance: Maytag Electric Dryer MDE5500AYW Drum roller on the right side above the heating element and duct was squawking very loudly I applied heat proof grease to the drum roller shafts which fixed the problem for awhile. Started making the noise again so I ordered new shafts and drum rollers, idler pulley and new drum drive belt. I installed everything and the dryer now runs like new and quiet. Read More... I had already broken down (took apart) my dryer one other time to replace some parts and did this again to install a new blower wheel fan and the repairs/replacement went well knowing full well that when I had the dryer apart last time around and knew of the slight break in the old blower wheel--I should of ordered a new part for this then!!!
