Whirlpool W10841140 Dishwasher High-Temperature Adhesive OEM Part

I took the cover off the transmission and determined that the only possible knocking had to be coming from the yoke. I ordered a new yoke and all the tub seals needed to put it back together like new. I also ordered a new drive pulley bearing because this bearing is always turning whenever the washer is used. I cleaned all the parts up while I was waiting for the new parts to arrive. I promised my wife I would make it look like new. I installed all the new parts in one day and let the trans cover sealer cure overnight. The next day I put the washer into spin mode and broke in the new seals and bushing. I installed the washer back into the house and washed the first load of clothes. I am happy to say it is working fine.

Replaced rubber feet

It took less than 5 minutes to fix. I cleaned the area with rubbing alcohol and a cotton swab. I allowed some time for the area to dry, applied the adhesive and inserted the foot. The cooking grate is nice and level again - no wobbling. I bought a few extra feet just in case - the shipping for one is the same for a couple. They're good to keep on hand.

It took a while to find the correct pads for my appliance. For some reason whirlpool doesn’t offer any information for this range online. However, thanks to all the great comments and feedback on AppliancePartsPros.com, I was able to narrow down the part number to the pads I ordered. These fit better than the couple that were still on my range. They fit nice and snug so I’m fairly confident they won’t be falling out like the previous ones did. Plus I used the recommended adhesive when I installed them.

Originally was going to order on line. But I wasn't sure about the pad even though it said the part was compatible with my stove, I decided to call to make sure. So thankful I did because it wouldn't have been the right pads. The lady that helped me was very helpful and patient. She looked up my cook top and found the correct information. I wish I had written her name down, so that I could mention her in this write up.
