Derek H Brenham , TX October 05, 2019 Appliance: Maytag Electric Dryer MEDC400VW0 Pulley broke in two I was able to disassemble the unit according to the helpful videos from your website, and simply removed the remaining portion of the pulley, then put the new pulley on. I also replaced the belt for good measure, as mine was cracked and dry. The dryer is back up and running better than before. Thanks a ton. We greased it, but it still clunked and screeched. We purchased a new wheel, and decided to purchase an additional wheel, belt, and support wheel to be safe. I required the Dryer Repair Kit and a Dryer Belt. The parts were in stock and arrived the following day. Totally cleaned the dryer of all lint and dirt, installed the new parts, and the dryer is now running as it did when it was new. Total time for cleaning and repair, two hours. Read More...
