Matthew J Bethel , CT December 28, 2017 Appliance: Model MH7110XBQ-6 Microwave cut out while cooking all power lost including otr light and fan Let me first say that I did not intend to fix this microwave due to the age, however there are literally zero new microwaves that are small enough (height and depth) to fit. After uninstalling microwave I tried simply replacing the fuse hoping that it just got tired after 21 years of service. Upon testing the fuse blew about 2 seconds after pressing start. Due to another review on appliancepartspros.com I suspected the HV capacitor. I was able to confirm this through testing with a multi-meter per the service pamphlet I found inside the microwave near the control panel (also a few you tube videos helped). I replaced the diode as well for good measure. Appliance Parts Pro's is my go to source after they helped fix my washing machine. The parts are always oem or oem certified, they have a fantastic return policy, and great customer service and tech support. Douglas S Mims , FL February 02, 2016 Microwave blowing 20 amp fuse This repair went very well. I watched a few videos on Youtube to get some ideas on what can possibly cause the main power fuse to blow. Taking the knowledge gained from the videos, I tested the internal parts, including the capacitor. I found the capacitor to be direct shorted, and ordered the part from Appliance Parts Pros. I was very very pleased that the part was at my door two days later, on a Saturday, no less, and I had it installed within 30 minutes. Microwave is back in service, and I am very pleased with Appliance Parts Pro's service. Thanks!!!
