Whirlpool WPW10224430 Detergent Dispenser OEM Part

I ordered a new detergent dispenser and control assembly, watched a few videos on you tube and dived in. The repairs were pretty simple once I got started and while I was doing this I went the extra step and cleaned out the drain. I would suggest doing this annually. Pretty simple to do and only 5 screws to get to the drain and the grinder. I found plastic and several other things that would not allow the dishwasher to drain properly and probably part of the problem of dishes not getting clean. It took less than an hour to do all the repairs and maintenance. Watch the you tube videos and from there almost anyone can figure out.

I watched a video on YouTube and took it from there. Not a big deal.

Ordered soap dispenser unit & installed it myself. Saved a lot of money & my dishwasher working perfect again!

It was probably a dozen or so washes from breaking off completely. The repair was quite simple - remove the star screws holding the front panel (3 on each side), remove the panel, remove the wire connector, unscrew the dispenser (6 hex screws) and replace in reverse order. Took 20-30 minutes.
