Description

The bake element is the oven's primary lower heat source. Replacing a failed element restores proper preheating and even baking performance when the oven won't heat or struggles to maintain temperature during the bake cycle. What it does

• Disconnect power at the breaker before servicing to prevent electrical shock
• Remove oven racks; access the element mounting screws from inside the oven cavity
• Carefully pull the element forward, support the wires, and transfer the connectors one at a time to avoid losing them behind the liner
• Ensure terminals are fully seated; do not overtighten mounting screws, then restore power and test bake
