Michael R Fargo , ND May 28, 2021 Appliance: Maytag Top Loading Washer PAV2300AWW Maytag PAV2300AWW washer grime built up around top of tub and basket had to remove basket to clean properly. I removed the rim, agitator, and basket. Cleaned tub with scraper, rag, and Simple Green. Washed off basket and rim outside with pressure washer. Installed a new gasket under the basket and reassembled the basket, agitator, and rim. Cost me $55.80 for supplies from Appliance Parts Pros, for what I could have bought for $31.11 locally if I would have known the cross-reference numbers for the gasket before I checked locally for parts. Next time, I'll take more time to research part numbers before going to local appliance dealers. Read More... Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 30-60 minutes Tools: Screwdrivers, Socket Set
