The part just snapped into place no tools required. My only complaint was the model I provided said the white grille would not match my fridge but went on without any issues. I had to take the outside part of the ice compartment apart to find out what was broken. A person at Appliance Parts was familiar with the problem and knew which part I needed. ( broken tabs repair kit...$72) He was very helpfu. When the part arrived, I read through the instructions and also watched a YouTube video.
