Dennis B City Of Ocoee , FL August 15, 2020 Broken door hinge. Removed oven door from oven. (Release the clip by lifting it up on each hinge to allow hinge flange to slid out. Set door on table and removed Phillips screws on inside door panel, turned door assembly ( Keep everything in place) over with inside facing down on table, removed 4 screws on bottom of door for each hinge then removed front face to get access to hinges. Removed tin shield cover plate ( Be sure to keep window glass assembly in place so you can reassemble it correctly ) Replace the hinges and carefully realign all the parts and tighten screws. When you reinstall the door you will have to hold it at a slight angle out to allow both hinge flanges to slid back in the oven, there is a small notch on the bottom of the hinge flange that needs seat in the oven to lock the hinge. Tilt the door out slightly and rotate lock clips back into position to hold hinges in. Read More... Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 30-60 minutes Tools: Pliers, Screwdrivers
