Timothy H Apple Valley , MN April 19, 2020 Appliance: Model MDTA50SAHB0 Dishwasher wasn't cleaning, water came in and would discharge It was a learning experience. First I turned off the power! I removed the lower kick plate, disconnected the drain hose and electrical connectors. Then removed the discharge pump and heat sensor then loosened the 4 hold down arms/clamps. Then I opened the door and pulled the base up from the inside. Now to remove and replace the Pump Motor. Then reverse the process. If I were to do again, I'd pull the dishwasher out and lay it on its back. Robert B Galveston , TX March 14, 2016 Appliance: Model KDTE704DSS0 Leaking from the motor area The seal for the diverter motor shaft started leaking. The only way to replace the seal is to replace the entire sump, which means you have to remove all the stuff connected to it, including the main pump. The main pump is connected to the sump via a rubber hose with one time use clamps. These parts worked well.
