Willard D Montrose , CO June 20, 2021 Appliance: Kenmore Dishwasher 66513229N413 Our Kenmore dishwasher started leaking water onto the bottom access cover far left side. I took the bottom access cover off, and checked underneath the unit to isolate where it was leaking from. Cleaned the cover, and the spot where the leak happened was marked for me. The front, far left hand side, behind the door. Ran a quick rinse cycle with a pan under the spot to verify it was there. It was. Then I did an internet search and found your website. Our dishwasher, bought in November of 2016, was listed, and several of the reviewers said wonderful things about their experiences with your company. One review described a person that had the exact same issue I was, and the lower spray arm was the cause. I read their description of testing to isolate the part, temporarily immobilize the lower spray arm at the 12 and 6 o'clock position (I used twine), and run a quick rinse cycle. I did, and no leak. Ordered the lower spray arm (it is identical to the original), and a 6-pack of the dishwasher cleaning tablets. 6 days later they arrived (economy shipping), and once I was able to see what the replacement looked like underneath, I was able to gently release the old twist on/off ring on the bottom of the lower spray arm. By twisting it counter-clockwise to release, and clockwise to tighten. The scariest part was not having a video of a similar dishwasher to see how the lower spray arm was secured to the part below it. I was cautious and lucky enough to get it replaced without having to order additional parts. I ran a quick rinse cycle and no leak. I put in the first cleaning disk and ran the Normal (3 hr. 10 min,) cycle. No leaks. Thank you for about the easiest and probably not the only dishwasher repair I'll undertake. Regards. Gerald S York , PA February 02, 2016 Appliance: KitchenAid Undercounter Dishwasher KUDE70FXPA3 Kitchenaid dishwasher top rack falling apart Ordered numerous replacement parts. Started with the tracks which required pulling the washer out of the cabinet to reach the screws. Pushed it back in and re-secured. Then stared on the rack and replaced the rack adjusters and various clips. Everything is straight forward and easy to replace. I originally called a local repair place to have them repair it. They came out and said they needed to order parts and they would call back. A week went by and I followed up with them. Had to leave a message for a call back and to this day never got the call back. So I decided to do the repairs myself. I ordered the parts from AppliancePartsPro from the easy to read diagram. I placed the order at 2:43PM on a Friday and received the parts at 12:23PM the next day. Less then 24 hrs! and I only paid for regular shipping. What more could you ask for! Great experience. Joseph M Carbondale , PA December 26, 2019 Appliance: Model KENMORE DISHWASHER 665.13402N412 Leaking Kenmore dishwasher I replaced the door gasket, then the lower seal but it still leaked. The leaks were located near the hinges. Finally, I called Sears repair to come and check it out. The repairman was nice but had to consult Whirlpool. Whirlpool told him to immobilize the spray arm 12 to 6 and run the DW. No leaks, so it was the lower spray arm. I ordered the part and replaced it as soon as it arrived. Thanks, no more leaks. Jeff S Essex , VT June 24, 2017 Appliance: Model WHIRLPOOL GOLDSTAR Broken spray arms First, I pried open the old arms, and cleaned them out. Then press fit them back together. That was a mistake. They came apart during the next wash and I had burned plastic at the bottom of the dishwasher. I ordered replacement parts (upper and lower arms) which arrived in 2 days. Fast. It takes only 1 minute to replace the arms. The dishwasher is now cleaning as it should.
