Whirlpool WP9743986 Dishwasher Door Spring OEM Part

One was broke I replaced both to make them the same again.

Removed internal housing .Removed broken spring and installed replcement

I took the safe route and since the shipping cost was the same ordered two springs. Figured it's better to just do both and not worry about the other breaking soon after. The video made it very easy to see I could do this myself, I am a very handy person and would give this job 1 hammer on a 5 scale. Two screws, slide it out, and install spring. Washer door is all set and I took the old good spring from the right and put it in my parts bin just in case one breaks prematurely. Never bad to have a spare. Now onto the garage door opener and replacing the gears inside. No need to spend $200 on a new one when $25 in gears does the trick.

Replaced one spring on door I called appliance parts pros on a Sunday, got Kelsey Wilson on the phone in a few minutes. She told me she would have to get someone to do some research ( it is a pretty old dishwasher) and I would probably get an email the next day. Instead I got an email from her within an hour KUsaying the researcher was very quick. Included was link to ordering and link to a video on how to replace the spring. Spring arrived a few days later, I watched video, and installed new spring easily.

I ordered two replacement springs and had a handyman friend Kreplace them for me, although I could probably have done it myself, with the use of the video you supplied on your website.
