Bonita I Ann Arbor , MI November 07, 2015 Appliance: Model MAYTAG QUIET SERIES 200 No water getting into the dishwasher We watched your video and decided we need to replace the water inlet valve..... we looked up the part, watched your video a couple of times and then set to it and replaced it in about an hour. Hardest part was screwing in the last screw behind the valve housing. A piece of tape helped that one. Thank you, thank you for the video which demystified the process enormously. James M Parkland , FL July 02, 2014 Appliance: Maytag Undercounter Dishwasher MDB6759AWS3 $89 maytag service call: repair man advised water valve needed replaced $359 including service fee!! no thanks! i can do that! Ordered part.for $49 inc shipping. Expected it in 3 -7 business days, but it arrived next day. Wow! Video was excellent, but ran into probem as soon as I tried to unscrew valve from under dishwasher with 1/4 inch socket. No turning power from underneath machine. The screws must have been factory-set with a serious torque! Unscrewed cabinet retaining screws (4). Pulled machine out about a foot; removed door wheel pulley which is directly behind water valve retaining plate - 1:26 on video. (need T15 Torx screwdriver), then with vice-grip pliers, forced screw turn from screw end. It actually clicked when I forced the turn! After that, it was lickety spit. (Putting kick plate on again is a pain). Thanks again for the video and the expedite delivery! Read More... Craig W Newton , NJ November 06, 2016 Appliance: Maytag Dishwasher MDB4650AWB Dishwasher water valve Replaced. Much easier if you remove door. Extra 1 1/2 inches means a lot. Be careful not to disconnect door cables. Leave back mounting screw in place on mounting bracket. Just loosen. If you have copper water line make sure fitting on part is aligned the same on new part.
