Brad for Model Number Frigidaire FDB520RHS2A A piece of a broken glass somehow got thru and jammed the pump (that pumps water out). I took the DW apart, checked and cleaned everything and every part seems to work. The top arm is not spinning, however. I can see water going up and running out of the spout. From other Q&A on this site, deduced that it is not getting enough water. I manually add (perhaps 1/2 gallon) of water and the arm does move (how much I don't know). If it is not getting enough water, what controls or determines when the cycle should start. I assume there has to be a float switch to determine when the unit has enough water (or is this just a timed event?). The DW was in the house when we bought it and we always thought it takes a long time to run thru it's cycles. We timed it the other night and it takes nearly 3 hours to wash. Is that normal? Thanks in advance.
Answer Hello Brad, The lack of water pressure at he upper spray arm is an indication of either a stopped up screen/filter 5304532205, 140281806020 or a damaged pump 154844301 and/or impeller. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, February 3, 2014
