Jerry for Model Number FDB1502RGS0 What controls the water level in the dishwasher? The upper arm won't rotate, like its not getting water. I've checked the nozzles they are clear. The water level comes up to over the tub screen, and the lower nozzle sprays very good. I removed the water valve and hooked 120V plus a water hose and it works, passing water. The float moves freely and clicks. I removed the cover from the pump ass'y and its clean. Thank you Jerry
Answer Hello Jerry, The water level is controlled by the control board in conjunction with the float. The float is more of the shut off when the tub is full enough. Your water level should be just lower than the heating element. You will also want to check the impeller and tubes to make sure that nothing is clogged. Also check to make sure that the upper spray arm is not clogged. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Wednesday, January 30, 2013
