Tony for Model Number Electrolux PLD8998CC0 I am getting water building up under "what appears" to be the float. I'm not 100% certain, but when I feel the switch under the float, there's water dripping from it. It could be coming from somewhere else, but I'm not sure where. I have already replaced the tub gasket and that didn't solve it. I have pulled the float out and inspected it, and it looks to be operating as designed. What else could be causing water to leak there? Is it worth replacing the float? Tony
Answer Hello Tony, You will want to check the spray arms to make sure that there is no cracks or clogging. If the spray arm is cracked it will cause water to ripple and with the rippling it will allow water to leak out the hole for the float. Read More...
