Paul V for Model Number MTB1956DE Ice maker is filled with ice in tray, but I can not eject. The sensor arm is missing. Should I shut off the water, then defrost the ice tray, then put in the sensor arm? (The sensor arm was missing when I returned from 6 months in Iraq and my wife doesnt know where the arm went.)
Answer Hello Paul. You can install the sensor arm without thawing the ice. You can actually install it with the icemaker still in the freezer. You will want to install the end in the fill cup first, and then install the other end into the module. Hope this helps. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, June 28, 2011
