Brenda, If the bale arm is in the correct position and the icemaker is not shutting off then you would need to replace the Motor module W10190935. Also if the fill tube is frozen, you will want to clear fill tube and replace the water valve due to the water valve WP61005273 is allowing a little water to flow through even when the icemaker is not calling for water.

Brenda, It sounds like the arm is not in the correct position. If you pull the icemaker out and check to make sure that the arm is in the hole on the back part of the front assembly. If it is not then it needs to be in this position as this is the shut off gear.

Hello Denise, The problem is internal in this case so the ice maker assembly or the motor module will require replacement. We normally supply a part number but, with no model number, since appliance parts are model specific, we need the model number to provide you with the correct part number. You can either re-post with the verified model number or you can call in and one of our representatives will be happy to look up the part number for you.

Hello James. If you use a small mirror you can see the slot that the bale arm goes into. No disassembly is required to install this at all.

James, You don't really need to remove the mechanism cover, But if you want to, you can use a flat blade screwdriver and insert it into the slots molded into the bottom of the mechanism and twist. If anything, you may want to remove and disconnect the icemaker. The 90 dgr. bend in the arm will be inserted in the round opening of the water inlet housing WP628356 and the other(wiggly) end will be inserted into the slot of the white nylon hub on the backside of the mechanism control head D7824706Q. you have to alihn evrything first, then press the arm into the hub, until it seats and "clicks" into place. Thanks and Good Luck

Hello Paul. You can install the sensor arm without thawing the ice. You can actually install it with the icemaker still in the freezer. You will want to install the end in the fill cup first, and then install the other end into the module. Hope this helps.
