Ed for Model Number LAT9520AAE I have a similar issue where the machine will become unbalanced and stop from time to time. Of more concern lately is the excessive vibration of the machine in spin. It's been shaking the entire upstairs floor.If I try and move the tub by hand side to side it is very stiff. It's so stiff left to right that if it's pushed to the right it will not return to center on its own. I appreciate any help. Ed
Answer Ed, Sounds like a worn out set of damper pads 203956 . The pads are glued to the base and set between the damper assembly 203725 and the base 22002150. You'll need to remove the front panel and check for the damper pads to be worn out or sticking out from between the damper and the base. It's an easy repair, only a 4X4 block of wood is needed as a special tool, and basic hand tools do the rest. Good Luck and Thanks Read More...
