Trey, The setup of the springs on this should be the same for the back as it is for the front and would simply follow the same steps as in the video.

Hello Donald, This is most likely caused by oil on the damper pads 203956. If the lower lip seal 207843 on the transmission is leaking, oil can get on the snubber and cause this complaint. You should also check the spanner nut and spin basket for centering and tightness.

Hello John, If these are the ones on the old dependable care design machines, you can use a metal electrical box to hold the spring in the extended configuration so you can get them installed. Since you already have them off you will need to put in the spring in the front, tilt the tub assembly toward the rear of the cabinet and slip the electrical box into the spring so it will hold it in its' extended position. Do this to another spring, using the front spring position once again. Remove it and tilt the tub assembly to the rear. Install the first two springs and save the front spring for last. The last one can be installed with pliers or vise grips by tilting the tub assembly toward the front of the machine.

Jimmy, the tub should be easy to move in any direction, it should not make any noise or be stiff or hard to move. Of course you need to do the basic installation checks, solid floor, washer level or slightly higher in the front, leveling legs locked in place. Remove the front panel and check that the damper pads 203956 are not worn out or sticking out from under the damper 203725, or a heavy gray colored powder on the base of the washer. This would all indicate the damper and or pads are worn, and causing the tub to shift and go off balance.

Ed, Sounds like a worn out set of damper pads 203956 . The pads are glued to the base and set between the damper assembly 203725 and the base 22002150. You'll need to remove the front panel and check for the damper pads to be worn out or sticking out from between the damper and the base. It's an easy repair, only a 4X4 block of wood is needed as a special tool, and basic hand tools do the rest. Good Luck and Thanks

Jonathan for Model Number A212 Series 04

On the spin cycle the tub becomes so unbalanced that the washer will stop itself. I figured that the centering springs are unservicable (machine is 22 yrs old). Is AP4026775 the correct part to remedy this problem? If so, do I need only one or is there one on each tub support bracket? Do I need any other parts to solve this problem? This is a great washer and I'd like to keep it running for another 22 years. Thank you in advanc for your help. Jon
