Steve Hey it's Steve. My range is showing F3, EO. my model no# GW395LEG03. I have already replaced my oven temp sensor, this stopped the earror code from coming up for about a week, but now there back. Do I need to change out the control board next?
Answer Hello Steve, Oven sensor opened. 1. Measure sensor value (between connector pins) between 1000 O @ 32° F (0° C) and 2697 O @ 900° F (482° C) (approximately 1080 O @ room temperature). If measurement does not correlate to real temperature, disconnect power, replace sensor and refer to steps 3-5. Also measure from sensor connector to sensor casing for possible short. 2. Trace wires and connectors to sensor, from control, then from sensor back to control. If all connections made and no wire damage, refer to step 3. 3. Disconnect power for longer than 30 seconds. 4. Reapply power and observe for longer than 1 minute. 5. If failure remains, disconnect power, replace control, then go back to step 4. Sounds like the control needs to be replaced on the unit If the sensor is new. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Wednesday, November 21, 2012
