SO thankful to have stumbled upon this website! I am not handy at all and have never really repaired anything by myself. Had a machine repair man tip me off that GE brand dishwashers have lots of issues with the "control boards". I started by finding a youtube video that instructed me on how to disassemble dishwasher to get to the Configured Service Machine board. Once I was able to visualise that, I could see that it had a rapidly blinking green light, which indicated that it was working properly.
I then ordered this User Interface Control board. The video on this website makes it extremely easy to replace the board. While there are quite a few steps, none of them are "tricky" or difficult in the slightest. The video walks you through every step of disassembly and reassembly. I ran into zero issues and had a working dishwasher at the end of it! So easy!
