This is a replacement throttle cable that is designed for use with select lawn tractors. The throttle cable is what controls the speed of the engine. When the metal lever is engaged, the machine will shift into high or low gear. The durable metal part is subject to constant vibrations and repetitive motion, and could break or become worn over time.
