After about three months of returning to my youth, filling ice cube trays, I decided to venture into the freezer and yank the old ice maker from its mounting. Since this was the third time this very ice maker had decided to stop functioning, it was time to get a replacement. I suspected the heating element was open and the motor was screaming trying to push the little frozen blocks of ice from their form, with distortion occurring. I ordered a replacement from this very company, received it... Read more

I didn't realize I was getting both a refrigerator door handle and a freezer door handle in one set, but now we have the freezer handle if we need it. Removing the old handle and installing the replacement was very easy. It looks great, in fact the replacement is metal, whereas the original was plastic, so it looks better than it ever did! In short - I replaced the evaporator fan motor and the evaporator fan blade. The Appliance Parts Pros website was extremely helpful to me. Here's how. 1. Replacement glass shelf for refrigerator compartments. Installs on shelf frame to hold food and beverages. Replace if cracked, shattered, or broken.
Repair took 20 minutes - 1 minute to set the new, non-broken shelf in place, and then 19 minutes teasing my spouse about the fragility of glass and multiple repetitions of the phrase "This is why we can't have nice things!" Probably worthwhile to program in 10 additional minutes to allow you to apologize to your spouse for ridiculing them for an honest mistake:) Read more
