Walk into the kitchen on 21 Sep. Eight year old Frigidaire refrigerator appears to be short cycling, controls are nonfunctional. Unplug it for a few minutes, plug it back in, appears to return to normal function. Return to kitchen half hour 45 minutes later it's short cycling again. Thanks to the Appliance Pro video and next day delivery, the fix was easy. Removed the old seals by hand and placed the new seals around the door shelves and eased it into the grove in the door. Read more

Removed freezer door by removing 4 bolts holding slide tracks for freezer basket. Pulled out old gasket. Soaked new gasket in hot water to smooth out a crease that resulted from shipping. Installed new gasket, starting at corners. Used a blunt tool to push new gasket into slot at the corners. Set remaining gasket material with hands. Used putty knife to tuck edge of gasket under lip along door. Reinstalled door. Take care to line up door perpendicularly. There is some play when... Read more
