Although that this is a 10 yrs old appliance, I decided to repair it as it is part of the entire set in the kitchen. I used the tips on the videos at AppliancePartsPros site and was easy to replace the parts and fix. Only the Inlet sump was leaking, but I decided to replace all parts that are made with similar material to avoid further problems. I was a good decision as the pump suction tube was showing signs of start leaking. I would suggest AppliancePartsPros make that kind of suggestion on the site. Watched the video on your website and it only took 30 mins to complete including removal and replacement of the diswasher. The plastic moulding had a pin hole leak. I have seen a number of these plastic components fail over time. I guess the detergent eventually wears them. Sara W Westminster , MD December 24, 2015 Water leak from dishwasher My son-in-law discovered that a family of mice had established a home under the dishwasher and had chewed away at the plastic parts of the pump adapter and inlet sump. He was able to remove the parts, find the part number and order them. We were pleased at how quickly they arrived and he was able to install them without a problem. He is not a plumber, just a very bright guy, and we are lucky to have him in the family. (I am guessing at the tools he used) Read More...
